Whole Wheat Blueberry Scones Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups 100% Whole Wheat flour
- 1/2 cup all purpose white flour
- 1/4 cup nectar agave (natural sweetener)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup lite soy milk
- 4 tbsp butter or butter spread (I used Promise activ Light Spread)
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
How to make Whole Wheat Blueberry Scones
This recipe was adapted from Lori at MadeHealthier.com. :)
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add butter to the flour mixture until it has a crumbly texture.
- Beat the egg and add to the flour mixture. Next add the milk and mix carefully. You do not want to over mix.
- Carefully fold in the frozen blueberries.
- Cover your baking pan or sheet with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Scoop out 9 equal portions about 2 inches away from each other.
- Bake for 18 - 20 minutes. (makes 9 scones)
