How to make Toasted Mini Marshmallows
Don't even try these unless you're not on a diet. They're crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, sweet and addictive, and they smell like heaven!
- Pour a handful of marshmallows into the pan.
- Turn the heat up to high.
- Toss the marshmallows around for about two minutes.
- They're done when they're a little brown, and expanding to about twice their original size. Don't get too excited though... they'll shrink right down again.

Laynie saysIt's VERY IMPORTANT that you use a non-stick frying pan!
-
Laynie saysThey won't taste as good as UN-toasted marshmallows in hot cocoa... Because they won't melt as quickly. Some of the sugar in them hardens when toasted.
-
yongfook sayshmm I'm trying to think of a use for these other than eating them as-is...I wonder what they'll be like mashed up and spread on bread for a sandwich? is good yes?
-
Laynie saysMaybe... And have fun cleaning the knife!
-
Laynie saysOh stop being a snob and just pop them into your mouth! You'll feel like a fool for ever wanting to mess with such perfection.
-
sweesan saysoh i love toasted marshmallows. another way to eat them is sandwich them with some chocolate in between 2 crackers. wrap them in foil and toast/grill 'em!! they're smacking good!!
-
Laynie saysYeah, s'mores! Jenny and I used to make them and just pig out over the sink, because they're such a mess.
