Estonian Gravy With Ground Beef

Ingredients

1 lbs ground beef
1 cup vegetable or chicken broth
2 tbsp diced onion
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 glove garlic
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 tsp of salt
black pepper

 

How to make Estonian Gravy With Ground Beef


First, lightly saute diced onion and garlic in cooking oil. Add ground beef and fry it until fully cooked. Then add salt, pepper and flour and mix through evenly. When it's is done, add the broth to the mixture and let it rise to boil. Turn the heat down, add Dijon mustard and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes. Enjoy with mashed potatoes, boiled potatoes or noodles!
