Ingredients

For happy face cheese toast:

1 slice bread of choice
1 tsp mayo (Kewpie brand recommended)
1 slice cheese of choice
a bit of ham
1 small nori sheet

For tomato stripe toast:

1 slice bread of choice
1 tsp butter
1/2 large tomato, sliced
pinch of black pepper

How to make Cute Toast! two ways


Happy Face toast method:

1. Toast the bread medium dark beforehand, so it does not get soggy.

2. Spread mayo lightly on top, then add your slice of cheese. Broil till bubbly.

3. While broiling, cut tiny round shapes from your ham. This will be the cheeks :) also cut the eye and mouth shapes you like from the nori sheet.

4. Take your toast out and arrange the cute face!

Tomato stripe toast method:

1. Toast the bread medium dark beforehand, so it does not get soggy.

2. Spread some butter thinly and arrange the sliced tomatoes on top.

3. Broil till the tomatoes get a bit cooked.

4. Top with fresh cracked black pepper, and the Kewpie mayo. Make cute designs or just do stripes as I have. You could maybe write a message!
