-1 lb. ground beef -1/2 pear, sliced -1/4 Vidalia onion, sliced -1 small handfull fresh mushrooms, chopped - 2-4 slicec ginger -Roasted Penut Oil -Balsamic Vinegar -1 14.5 oz can basil, garlic, and oregano diced tomatoes -basil leaves -liquid smoke
How to make Italian Beef and Veggies
I made this when told to make dinner once. Without much on hand, I concocted this! A fine Pinot Grigio would go quite well with this Italian themed entree.
- Brown beef in medium skillet.
- While beef is browning, add enough penaut oil to cover bottom of pan and a dash of liquid smoke, and sautee vegtables.
- When finished, add balsamic vinegar to vegtables, and add to beef.
- Dish and serve.
Serves about 4.
