Roast Pork in Grape Juice

Serving: 6
  • 1 kg pork fillet (or loin, if you like juicy meat)
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 ml grape juice
  • salt and pepper

How to make Roast Pork in Grape Juice

Utensils: Deep pan, Kitchen string
  • Tie the meat neatly with kitchen string and brush with some of the olive oil
  • Put the remaining oil in a deep pan, add the pork and cook over high heat, turning frequently, until browned all over
  • Add the grape juice, lower the heat, cover and simmer for about 1 - 1.5 hours until the pork is tender and the sauce has thickened
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste
  • Lift out the meat, untie it and carve into slicesĀ 
  • Place on a warm serving dish and spoon the sauce over them
ps 1. If you want to reduce the amount, reduce the meat, not the liquid ingredientsps 2. I prefer loin to fillet
