Caprese Salad Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 Mozzarella (Mozzarella di bufala campana or Mozzarella fior di latte)
- 2 red ripe but not too soft medium sized tomatoes
- fresh basil
- salt
- virgin olive oil
- capers (optional)
How to make Caprese Salad
This is a very easy salad once you got the right ingedients. The capers are just an ingredient I like to add but originally not part of the recipe.
- cut the tomatoes and mozzarella in slices and arrange on a flat plate
- rip the basil into small pieces and put on top
- season with salt and add the optional capers
- splash some olive oil on top
- serve with nice white bread and a glass of wine
