Ingredients

  • 1 cut-up chicken
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup orange marmalade
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup hot barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

How to make Old Ladies on a Bus


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine marmalade, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice, mixing well.
  3. Place chicken, skin side up, in 9 x 13 pan lined with aluminum foil.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour sauce over chicken and bake 1 hour, basting occasionally.
  6. Increase temperature to 400°F and bake 15 minutes longer.
