Ingredients
3 cups rice -washedIngredients to be blended:
1 onion
3 pips
1/2 " ginger
3 tomatoes
3 cardamons
1 stick cinnamon
3 cloves
1 white onion-sliced
1 red chilly- split open.
2 stalk coriander-chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp fenugreek powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp almond powder
3 tbsp ghee or clarified butter
1/2 lemon
1 cup milk
salt
2 cup water or less
How to make Biryani Tomato rice
1 . Saute white onion and spices in ghee. Add blended ingredients and cook till aroma and add powdered spices.
2. Then add rice and mix well, season . Add lemon and milk and pour into rice with enough among of water.
3. Cook through then add coriander leaves. Cover and cook till done.. Serve hot with lentil curry .
Note:
Shredded carrot and peas can be added toward the last cooking.
