4 cups flour
1 tbsp instant yeast
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk powder
1 egg
1 cup warm water

1 cup milk powder
1/4 stick butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla

2 cups flour
1/2 cup milk powder
1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp chocolate spread
1 egg

Egg wash:
1 egg  yolk , beaten

How to make milk butter buns with cake topping

1. Mix the dough ingredients and knead to a soft non sticky dough. Leave to rise for an hour.
2. Mix the fillings together and leave a side.
3. For the topping:- beat the butter, the spread  and sugar till dissolved , add egg , then the flour and milk powder. mix well. Should be a soft dough .
4. Put yeast dough on floured board and roll out. Spread fillings and roll up like a swiss roll , firmly.
5.Place on greased tray into a ring. Place the topping dough on top of the ring covering the entire ring. Leave to rise. Brush with egg wash.
6. Bake in preheated oven at 220 C for 20 mins. or till brown.

NOTE: if there is remaining topping  or filling, don't throw away, you can mix them together and roll into small balls and place on greased tray and bake them at 220 C for 10  mins. there you have your cookies!!
