Ingredients4 shallots -chopped
2 garlics -chopped
1 french onion -cut into wedges
1 inch galangal - finely sliced
2 stalks of lemon grass - crushed
3 kaffir lime leaves
2 or 3 small chillies-(thai chillies)
juice from 1 lime
1 tbspTom Yam paste
1 tbsp of Fish sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
3 cups of chicken stock
2 tbsp oil
5 medium size prawns ,shells off,cooked
5 slices fish cakes
5 fish balls
some convolvulus- (kangkong)-cut 1 " length-blanch
1/2 pkt vermicelli-soak to soften
How to make Tomyam noodle
1. Saute chopped ingredients in oil and add sliced ingredients. Fry till aroma. Then add tomyam paste and the rest of ingredients.
2. To serve, add the garnish ingredients in a bowl and pour tomyam soup in it. Serve hot.
you can use yellow noodle , flat noodle which ever you desire.
