If u have left over fried chicken, dont waste it. Then i was thinking of making something from the chicken, and i come up with porridge for breakfast.


  • 1 quart of water
  • 1 cup rice
  • left over chicken, shredded
  • 2 spring onion ( fine chopped)
  • 3 tbsp of granulate chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • white pepper
  • chopped mushroom


How to make Chicken Porridge

how to cook:

  • In a deep boiling pan, cook rice and water, let it simmer till boil
  • Add chicken, chicken stock, salt, mushroom, pepper
  • cook again slow heat for 1 to 1.5 hours till it thicken. Maybe you need to add some more water if you feel it;s too thick.
  • Add sesame oil and spring onion
  • ready to eat while it's warm
