Meringue Recipe

Ingredients
- one large egg white
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- one pinch of salt
- 1/4 of rough chopped hazelnuts
How to make Meringue
- preheat your oven to 300 degrees
- line parchment paper on a flat pan
- whip your egg white with hand mixer until it is stiff
- add the sugar, salt, and cinnamon
- whip the mixture again until it becomes stiff
- incorporate gently the chopped hazelnuts
- drop one teaspoon of batter at a time, one inch apart
- bake for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the oven
- it should look crisp and become golden on the outside
- remove from the oven
- cool at room temperature
- put the meringue in an air tight container
- you can keep the meringues for up to 4 days in low humidity weather
- serve with a cup of tea
