wanderyng1Granulated sugar should work fine, but I'm uncertain about whether it could be used to make taffy or not. I suspect it could, but I'd hate to steer you wrong and then not have it work.

Do you think it would work making saltwater taffy? I don't have corn syrup in my country, so I need an alternative. The thing is i can't risk trying it out because i only have enough food colouring and sugar for one try.

Actually the point of this is to avoid all the junk that is added into store-bought "Miracle Whip," but I appreciate the suggestion.
