- 6 TBSP of spices of your choice
- 1 12 or 14 oz can of beer.
How to make Beer Can Chicken
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
REMOVE any insides from the chicken
RINSE the chicken with cold water pat dry.
RUB the chicken, inside and out with spices.
Open the beer and drink half of it the punch extra holes on the can.
Add 2 tbsp of spices inside the beer can.
PLACE beer can on oven proof pan or dish this allows the chicken to cook indirectly and cathes the juices if you want to make a gravy. ARRANGE chicken on beer can, allow the two legs to form two sides of tripod so the chicken is stable.
REDUCE oven to 350 degrees after first 30 mins. Best when chicken cooks for about 11/2 - 2 hours
When chicken is ready carefully remove to a separate platter. Allow to stand for 10 mins.

chanok saysi guess this is the alternative to cutting the chicken up and placing it flat on a baking rack.. at least this way u don't have any chicken skin that gets soggy..
