Ingredients

1 fish- cleaned and rub with:
1 tsp chilly powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp salt
1 squeeze of lemon juice

3 ripe tomatoes- blanch -peel-chopped
2 tbsp chopped onions
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp chopped red chilly

1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp light sauce
salt and pepper
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1/2 cup water

lemon wedges for garnish and taste

How to make Fried fish in tomatoes


1. make sure you rub the inside stomach of the fish with lemon juice juice so to get rid of the bitter taste and smell.
2.Heat 5 tbsp oil and fry the fish till golden brown. drain and keep warm.
3. With 3 tbsp oil, saute the chopped ingredients till aroma.
4. Add chopped tomatoes, and seasoning. Let simmer till gravy thicken lightly and pour over cooked fish and serve.
