砂煲豆腐 Claypot Tofu

Ingredients

  • 2 egg tofu
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 5 slices ginger
  • 100g shrimp, shelled
  • 100g char siew, sliced
  • 100g chinese black mushroom
  • 50g sliced carrot
  • 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce (seasoning)
  • 1/4 tsp salt (seasoning)
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce (seasoning)
  • 1/4 tsp pepper (seasoning)
  • 1 tbsp corn flout, mixed with 2 tbsp hot water (seasoning)

How to make 砂煲豆腐 Claypot Tofu


This is a must try dish! It's easy and delicious! D2 is so picky on food, but he was amazed by this claypot tofu. Keke.

  1. Deep fry egg tofu in hot oil until golden brown. Set aside

  2. Heat up 1 tbsp oil in clay pot, stir fry garlic and ginger until fragrant.

  3. Pour in shrimps, char siew, carrots, mushroom and stir well.

  4. Add in seasoning and tofu, cook for 2 minutes.

  5. Thicken with corn flour mixture. Serve hot.

Tips: If you are using normal claypot, do not add in cold water while cooking. The claypot might crack.
